In consecutive interpreting or liaison interpreting, speech is interpreted sentence-by-sentence or in summary, which takes more time. Unlike in simultaneous interpreting, this service does not require any technical support.

As with simultaneous interpreting, the challenge of technical language and terminology also applies to consecutive interpreting.
